our home, is situated in the middle of the

6kms south of the spa town of

provided. We have a beautiful, large sitting room
and a courtyard garden. Our nearest town,
Bagnéres-de-Bigorre, has numerous restaurants
and bars, shops and an excellent Saturday market.
It is most famous as a spa town where people come
to 'take the thermal waters', which you are now
able to do in the superb new pool, Aquensis. |

let you enjoy all the delights of the High
Pyrenees, just as he did. The studio is up on the
first floor with a South facing balcony that
looks out over the surrounding hills and distant
bigger mountain peaks. Ste Marie-de-Campan is a
tiny village set up the Haute Pyrénées at just
below the thousand metre level, midway between
Bagneres-de-Bigorre and the ski resort of La
Mongie. The hills and mountains around Ste
Marie-de-Campan give the walker or climber an
enormous canvass on which to make the mark. From
Gavarnie you can walk through some spectacular
scenery and into Spain. |
