Fully catered ski accommodation for winter holidays. For summer holidays a self catering basis or bed and breakfast is offered. The chalet is in the heart of a pine forest with stunning views of the surrounding countryside

Sally and David welcome you to Chalet Juliette in La Tania, Les Trois Vallées. We aim to provide a friendly relaxing holiday in a warm and comfortable environment. With just one chalet, we can offer that little bit extra and all our attention will be focused on ensuring that you enjoy your stay with us. La Tania is the newest resort in Les Trois Vallées. It is located in the Courchevel valley at an altitude of 1350m, in the heart of a pine forest. It is just over a mile by road from Courchevel 1300 and 4 miles from Méribel.

Built for the 1992 winter Olympics, the village features "pretty" chocolate box chalets situated in the trees and a pedestrianised centre within easy walking distance from the chalet.

The village is self-contained with a number of bars and restaurants, cinema, tourist office, post office, supermarket and local shops. There is free open-air parking, or underground parking which costs approximately £45 a week.

Après ski in La Tania is leisurely and informal. The drinks are reasonably priced and the popular "Le Ski Lodge" provides regular live music and a great party atmosphere. Travelling around the Courchevel Valley is easy with the free bus service that links all the resorts in the Courchevel Valley.

Skiing Les Trois Vallées

The Trois Vallées covering Couchevel, Méribel and Val Thorens needs little introduction. It is one of the world's greatest ski areas, with over 600km of marked pistes and 200 ski lifts. The 1230 snow cannons, including snow cannons on the lower half of the Folyères run, ensure snow cover is maintained to optimal conditions throughout the season.

Summer in the Alps

In July and August Les Trois Vallées and the nearby beautiful Vanoise National Park and surrounding areas are alive with activities including tennis, horse riding, fishing and white water rafting. Enjoy numerous signposted walks or take a guide for the day. We can provide packed lunches.

Most of the main lifts are open during July and August giving access to the whole of Les Trois Vallées, by foot or by bike. Bring your own bikes or hire good ones here. Enjoy the spectacular scenery and wildlife. The meadows are full of beautiful wild flowers, and there is a chance of spotting marmots, bouquetin, chamois and red squirrels. Within the resort there is an open-air swimming pool, where you can relax, sunbathe and take in the beautiful views.

There are plenty of places of interest to visit in the region. The beautiful village of Annecy and its famous lake is a short drive (70km), or take a trip to Mont Blanc (90km). There is also summer skiing up on the glacier in Tignes.

About our Property

This recently built chalet offers comfortable modern accommodation whilst maintaining the charm of a traditional chalet.

There are seven en-suite twin bedrooms, six have full ensuite facilities (bath, shower, wash basin and toilet), one has an ensuite shower and washbasin.

The open plan living area has a large log fire, vaulted ceiling and ample space for relaxation, with Sky TV, video/DVD player and CD cassette player. There is also a range of board games and a small library of books.

Beautiful views can be enjoyed from the wrap around balcony.

There is a heated boot warmer and storage for skis and boots. The boot room accessed from within the chalet leads directly to the piste, just 20 metres away. The shops, bar and restaurant are close by, and can be reached via public lift.

All bedrooms are non-smoking. Smoking is allowed on the balcony.

Please bring a pair of slippers or other suitable indoor footwear for use within the chalet.

Families

A holiday should be fun for all the family, and we want to help you enjoy yourselves to the full. We have facilities for children in the chalet and can arrange private nanny services.

Winter

In the winter season we offer a fully catered service, all prepared by David who is a qualified chef.

Breakfasts of cereal, porridge, yoghurts and freshly baked bread, jams and a selection of teas, fresh coffee and juice. A hot dish will also be avaialble.

Afternoon tea with homemade cakes or biscuits, bread, jam, tea, coffee and hot chocolate.

Pre dinner canapés and four course evening meal with good quality wines, followed by fresh coffee and chocolates. (Evening meal 6 days only).

High tea for children can be arranged.

Summer

In the summer we offer bed and breakfast, with optional evening meals or the chalet can be rented on a self catering basis.

The summer period runs from 3rd July to 28th August, 2004.
