our region Villa
Les Ondes is located in the Aveyron Gorge region, 1km
from the centre of St Antonin Noble Val, a wonderful
medieval market town with its amazing architecture and
fabulous Sunday market. This beautiful and as yet undiscovered area of south-west France is steeped in history and offers a quiet relaxing holiday for those interested in wonderful scenery, unspoilt French charm and excellent food and drink. Peace and tranquility surround
you, but for those more active, there are many sporting
activities nearby including tennis, fishing, pot-holing,
rock-climbing and horse riding. Within short driving distances
there are a number of fascinating towns and villages
including Albi, Cahors, Penne and Bruniquel, all of which
are well worth a visit. As well as the nearby medieval
villages and bastide towns, there are châteaux, abbeys,
churches and magnificent natural sites of outstanding
beauty; whether it be wooded valleys or the meandering
Aveyron with its dramatic gorges. The property, of
modern construction, is set in 2 acres of gardens,
carefully maintained and predominantly meadowland with
mature trees, meandering down to private river frontage
where you can make use of the fishing rods supplied.

pool and the steep river bank the property is not really
suitable for very young children. There are relaxers, sun
beds and parasols around the pool area - a great place to
read, eat, listen to On one side of the property is a lawned area with a barbecue, where games such as boules and swingball can be played. There are two mountain bikes for guests, and close by there are some designated cross country cycle tracks and many delightful walks. Pool toys, paddling pool, high chair, cot etc are available. Villa Les Ondes is approximately a day's drive from the Channel Ports and only 1 hour from Toulouse airport, which has daily flights from Heathrow, Gatwick, Cardiff, Southampton, Birmingham, Bristol, Manchester and numerous flights from regional airports connecting with Amsterdam or Brussels and then onwards to Toulouse. Rodez airport is just 75 minutes away and is served by Ryanair, as is Carcassonne, which is just an hour south of Toulouse. ideal walking country, and rail trips can be taken to
many destinations. Two cycles for adults are provided
free of charge. Golf is available at Albi (a delightful
18 hole course). An afternoon's excursion by canoe
through the Aveyron Gorge is also considered a 'must' by
nearly all guests.
