our B&B L'Esquisse, our home, is situated
in the middle of the Cycling has long been popular here as proved by the regular visit of the 'Tour de France.' Accommodation On the first floor there is a spacious double bedroom with pink marble fireplace, quarried locally, and a white metal framed bed, adjacent to the bathroom. Then on the second floor is another double room with dark oak roof beams and decorated with tangerine highlights. Also on this second floor is the twin bedded room in shades of pale blue and pale green.
All
the rooms have tea & coffee making facilities,
bathrobes, hair dryer and linen provided. Prices and booking information (Euros)

in the Pyrénées Take the lift to the Pic du Midi de Bigorre, the areas highest point, or drive through La Mongie (great ski resort in winter) and over the Col de Tourmalet then wind your way down the mountain through Baréges ending up at Lourdes. Our nearest town, Bagnéres-de-Bigorre, has numerous restaurants and bars, shops and an excellent Saturday market. It is most famous as a spa town where people come to 'take the thermal waters', which you are now able to do in the superb new pool, Aquensis. We are
close to the Spanish border and not too far from the
coast and the delights of Biarritz, St. Jean de Luz,
Bayonne, or a little further in the other direction via
Toulouse to the Mediterranean - Narbonne, Perpignan, etc.
Our home is situated in the middle of the village of Campan, 6kms south of Bagnéres-de-Bigorre, on the D935 a half hour from Tarbes and the A64 motorway. We are 1 hour from Pau and its' international airport and the train links of Tarbes and the Tarbes-Ossun-Lourdes airport again 1/2hr.
