About Holiday Green Campsite Set in
this beautiful wine-growing area, Holiday Green is a It’s really no surprise that the campsite has won the Cle Verte award again and again and also falls within the top three campsites in Provence. On a hillside covered in magnificent Mediterranean pines and cork oaks, and with many varied bird species and squirrels; you immediately feel in touch with nature. Facilities and Activities on Holiday Green Campsite A restaurant, bars, disco, supermarket/bakery, gift shop, newsagent, small amusement arcade with Wi Fi, internet access, launderette, tennis courts, large sunbathing terrace, Swimming pools (3) one of which is indoors with a tabogan slide and 2 Jacuzzis.(supervised July/August), games competitions, visiting circus, fireworks, netball, football pitches, boules area, 2 ping pong tables, archery, mountain bike hire and crazy golf. coastal area of St. Raphael / Frejus & Port St. Raphael with its 5 different harbours, is a sailing resort and the ideal place for boating enthusiasts. Along its 42km. of coastline you can discover sandy beaches, creeks & inlets, all carved out of the famous red rock of the Esterel Mountains. St. Raphael is also the city of the Var where tourism and business are one. With a casino, clubs, restaurants, bars, intersting markets and much more. You will be able to discover traditional festivities in every season. There are jousting tournaments, celebrations of St. Baume and St. Pierre, Mimosa Week, jazz festivals, and other typical St. Raphael entertainments. Taking a day trip
away to see other wonderful locations is The railway also offers fantastic views for a reasonable price. Why not take the car and stay away over-night in a small B+B and discover the countryside to its fullest. Towards Italy, along the coast road is worth the experience but slow going during July/August. Cannes (Port is very impressive) is also an interesting place to stop & look around. Antibes port & old town (experience the restaurants at night) including the undercover day market. Nice has plenty to offer, large boulevards, department stores, the old town & restaurants, cafes & bars, and daily a market (different theme every day). Park your car in the underground car park. Villefranche-sur-mer & old town originating from the 14thC., previously a naval port with a citadele (1560) part of which is now the town hall & also has a collection of submarine archeology from the wreck of a Genoese ship of the 16thC. Park & walk with your camera. Eze Village (halfway to Monte-Carlo) Isolated & a prime example of a hill village which clings like an eagle's nest, to a rock spike towering 410ft.above the sea. With a panoramic view from the jardin exotique, and ancient castle. Walk around the narrow streets and restored houses. Menton - Claims to be the warmest resort on the Riviera. Long sandy beaches, two marinas, festivities & cultural events. Famous for its “Menton” lemons and the Fete du Citron. At the far end of Menton is the Italian border line. I will be happy to
