our region This
picturesque Provençale marine village - the Venice of
Provence -lies about 6 km from both St Tropez and Ste
Maxime. The colourful houses and apartments are built on
peaceful islands, linked by bridges over the waterways,
and surrounded by gardens. There is a local market twice
weekly, many small shops and restaurants, and a sandy
beach about 600 metres from the apartment. Various
watersports are offered in Port Grimaud, and tennis
courts, golf course and horse riding are available
nearby. It is an excellent centre from which to explore
the unspoilt inland areas of Provence, the hilltop
villages, or the beautiful coastline. Our apartment is located in a quiet area on the first floor. In front of the property we have a mooring with our little Jeanneau dinghy with 4hp outboard motor which can be hired for a small additional charge. The apartment is fully equipped, and comprises one double bedroom, bathroom, L-shaped living room with double convertible sofabed, open-plan kitchen with cooker, refrigerator, microwave oven, dishwasher and washing machine. Bed linen can be hired by arrangement.
The apartment has a west facing balcony with a beautiful panoramic view (see below) and is equipped with table and chairs for outdoor dining. There is a shaded parking place, a short walk from the property.
The prices are inclusive of gas, electricity and water but excluding linen. 25% is payable on reservation with the balance due 8 weeks before occupation. There is a £150 returnable security deposit. We regret that children under 8 years and pets are not accepted. Please note changeover day in summer season is Friday. Getting there Port Grimaud is approximately 30 km from 'La Provençale' autoroute and approximately 1120 km from Caen. The Rail Europe motorail service runs from Paris to Toulon (approx 65 km west of Port Grimaud) and TGV to Frejus/St Raphael (approx 30 km to the east).
