solar heated, covered pool which complies with French
safety regulations. There is a shower, toilet and laundry
room serving the pool.

2 Twin Bedrooms.

First floor king size mezzanine bedroom with en-suite
shower room and dressing area.

Heating is supplied by wood burning stoves. Logs provided.

2 bedrooms. 1 King-size and 1 Twin.

Large shower room. Central Heating.

Each house is fully furnished including fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and gas
cooker. TV and Satellite, DVD, Video and CD. Own garden,
with furniture and BBQ.

Bed linen and towels (bath and pool) provided. Food and
wine welcome pack.

Games, assorted DVDs and videos, and lots of books.

Cot, highchair, fireguard and stairgate available. Please
request when booking.

No pets. No smoking inside the property.

About our region

Situated in Deux Sevres, close to the Vendee Border, La Blatiere is in a small hamlet surrounded by farmland. The
area is ideal for walking, cycling, bird watching and relaxing.

L’Absie is a small town about 3kms away with boulangerie, general store, post office, bank, chemist and restaurant,
with larger supermarkets etc 10kms.

Places to visit

Karting, adventure forest for children and adults, and mini
golf 3kms.

Pescalis fishing 10kms. Golf Mazieres-en-Gatine 25kms

Puy de Fou, Futuroscope, La Rochelle, Cognac, Loire Valley.
Ile de Re, The Coast.

Getting there

By ferry:

Brittany Ferries, Condor Ferries, Irish Ferris, LD Lines, Norfolk Line Ferries, P&O Ferries all offer channel crossings. The road system in France is very good and many Channel ports are convenient for this region.

By air:
Ryanair from London Stanstead to Poitiers, La Rochelle or Limoges, also Liverpool and East Midlands to Limoges and East Midlands and Shannon to Nantes.

British Airways to Bordeaux and La Rochelle and Air France to Bordeaux and Limoges.

Flybe from Belfast, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Southampton to La Rochelle and Edinburgh, Jersey and Southampton to Limoges.
