our B&B We are Norma and Mick Flanagan and are waiting to welcome you into our lovely home in the Deux-Sèvres region of France. We offer a large double room with private bathroom and a single room.
We can provide
some evening meals if orderd in advance, Our large double room has a kingsize bed, private bathroom, satelite tv (english channels) dvd, hair dryer and beverage making facilities. We can also provide one or two foldup beds for children if required. Our single room has satelite tv (English channels) dvd hair dryer and beverage making facilities. Our
large courtyard garden offers private parking. Relax or eat out in hot summer evenings. Couture d`Agenson, Deux-Sevres, France is in a peaceful country setting with rivers and lakes. Couture d`Argenson is a pretty village which has local facilities a small supermarket, doctors, chemist, garage, bar and post office. If you need a welcome break or holiday this is the place for you. Accommodation Large bedroom with a kingsize bed and English channel TV, and en-suite bathroom. Large single bedroom Large family bathroom with separate shower and bath, towels are provided. Rooms also have tv, dvd and cd player with tea & coffee facilities. We also have available a fold up bed for a child. Free enclosed
onsite parking to the rear of the property.
A deposit of
20 euros is required to secure a booking. Laundry
facilities are available at an extra cost. We require
notice in advence if booking an evening meal. About our region Chef-Boutonne Chateux with
fishing lake , 2 supermarkets, Les Gours has a fishing & swimming lake right in the heart of the country side - approx 3 miles Ruffec is a lovely french town with shops, bars & restaurants on wednesday & saturday they have markets selling fresh local produce & seafood all close to the local railway - approx 15 miles. You can also visit the Vallee des Singes which is a monkey park were you can get up close to monkees, chimpanzee`s and gorillas. Also you can visit the nearby town of Melle or vist the Abbaye Royale at Celles-Sur-Belle Local Markets: Chef-Boutonne - Saturday Civray - Tuesday & Friday Ruffec - Saturday Lezay - Tuesday Rouillac is a very
large market on the 27th day of each month, it carries a
large selection of live stock as well as local produce
and wares. Eurostar - London Waterloo & Ashford to Lille & Paris Lille to Ruffec changing at Poitiers Paris to Ruffec direct approx 2-3hrs Ferry & Car - Dover to Calais approx 7hrs St Malo & Le Havre 5 & 6hrs respectively Air Ryanair from London Stanstead to
