About
our gites Two delightful farmhouse style gites
located in a quiet rural area with use of a swimming pool
and a large 2 acre field for the children to play in. Logis De Tertre Set in two acres
in the quiet hamlet of Le Grand Breuil, Logis de Tertre
has open views of the agricultural landscape which in
July and August is dominated by fields of sunflowers or
maize. Le Trisant, 2 Bedroomed Gite (sleeps 4) A delightful and
well appointed two bedroom gite "Le Trisant"
providing accommodation for four people which Christina
and Mike have created out of the old farm stable. French doors give access to your own external dining area complete with barbecue. A pine staircase
leads to the first floor landing off which The
shower room is fitted with a
shower, wash hand basin and WC. 4 Bedroom Gite, Le Bronwain, sleeps 8 Originally a farm
labourer's house with a grenier on the first floor, a
substantial renovation by Christina and Mike has
converted it into a charming and well appointed four
bedroom gite providing accommodation for up to eight
people. Located off the
lounge area is a double bedroom with en-suite shower room having a large walk-in shower, wash hand

About our Region The gites benefit from a peaceful location, yet Logis De Tertre is easily found, only 5 minutes off the good but quiet N11 dual carriageway that takes you straight into La Rochelle. Our village of Le
Grand Breuil is a few minutes away from the departmental
borders of Deux Sevres and Charente Maritime. Several good restaurants can be found in the nearby villages of Usseau, Surgères and La Laigne. Hypermarkets, shops, bistros and restaurants can be found in abundance 30 minutes away either at La Rochelle or Niort. Attractions in the Region Nearby La
Rochelle with its picturesque harbour, superb
restaurants, aquarium and maritime museum. Atlantic coast
with glorious sandy beaches of the Vendee to the north,
and the Cote Sauvage to the south of La Rochelle. Airports at
Poitiers and La Rochelle are convenient for this region.
