We believe that our
location is the best in the Charente Maritime offering
the tranquility of the countryside yet being central for
all beaches and places of interest in the region. Very child friendly!. The large garden is ideal for the children to play in and make new friends whilst you watch from your terrace sipping a glass of chilled Pineau and soak up the hot summer sunshine. Lie under the shade of the apple tree and read or slip into the clear water of the pool to cool down. We take great pride in the daily maintenance of our pool. It is 50 m2, and is 1m deep at the shallow end and gently drops to 2m at the deep end. It is floodlit and may be used at any time. It is surrounded by a terrace with sunbeds and is completely enclosed for safety. Child Friendly We have 2 young children, Benjamin and Thomas, we have also been letting out our cottages to families here since 1996 so have some experience of what children of all ages enjoy and what makes their parents holidays enjoyable too. Its usually the case that if the children are happy then the parents are too. Our large garden has a sandpit and two sets of swings including a slide. These are set on an impact absorbing wood chip surface (just in case). There is a badminton net and plenty of space to play boules or ball. The garden and sandpit are directly opposite ruche and horloge cottages and within view of papillon and grenier.
Wendy will baby sit in your own cottage so you can go off and enjoy a relaxed meal in one of the many fine dining restaurants. We have plenty of cots, high chairs and stairgates at no charge About our cottages The cottages are set in a rural location, 6 miles east from St Jean D'Angely in the Charente Maritime region of south west France. All major facilities such as supermarkets and banks can be found a short drive away at St Jean D'Angely. The town also has a good selection of restaurants. his living in the wine industry teaching An introduction to wine tasting Six fine wines will be selected to give a well rounded and enjoyable tasting. The evening is intended to be an informal and friendly chat about wine where you feel at ease and able to ask any questions you wish about wine. Chai Visit Experience a true taste of the Charente Maritime, join our small group of imbibers for a visit to the chai of Eric Cartaud a local wine, Pineau and Cognac producer..
