French village, untouched by modern times, peaceful and
tranquil and surrounded by rolling farm land. Logis de la Croix Welcome to Logis de la Croix, a place in the sun were a warm and friendly family atmosphere awaits you. Set in Gibourne valley, our 4 luxury gites are the ideal location for exploring the Charente-Maritime. As soon as you arrive at any of our four well equiped modern gites you will quickly find everything you need to start your holiday there and then. All gites have private tiled patio's with tables, chairs, lounger's and a gas BBQ. Indulge yourselves, feast on the local oysters, moules and langoustines whilst sampling the local wines. With an acre of lawn to play
games on complete with play area, swings, slide, climbing
frame and a play house, your children will soon be making
new friends. 2 heated pools totalling 120 square metres Under water lights make late night swims a must, and for the younger children our toddler pool is only 40 cm deep. We also now have a gym for your use. The traffic free roads and lanes around Gibourne are perfect for a quiet stroll or bike ride. For the fisherman the rivers and coast are excellent. There are so many things for you to do, from boating, horse riding, golfing wine tasting and adventure parks to just soaking up the sun. Gite 1 The Cottage (sleeps 4) The ground floor of this 200 year old house is open plan, with exposed beams and stone walls. The lounge area has a sofa and chairs
facing a TV and video with a selection of films. The fitted kitchen is equipped with a gas cooker, dishwasher, fridge and microwave. (The washing machine is located in the bathroom). On the first floor are: Bedroom 1, a double bedroom with views over the pool area. Bedroom 2, a twin bedroom overlooking the courtyard. The modern bathroom is across the landing from both bedrooms. Through the rear door you will find your own patio area, complete with a gas barbecue, table, chairs and sun loungers. From here you can see the pool area and across the Gibourne valley. Gite 2 (sleeps 10 in 4 bedrooms) The fully equipped kitchen is entered from the courtyard and is equipped with a gas cooker, dishwasher, washing machine, 2 fridges and a microwave. The large dining table seats 10 guests. The lounge is Also on the ground floor is: Bedroom 1, a family bedroom with a double bed, a set of bunk beds and fitted wardrobe. Bedroom 2 is located across the corridor and has two single beds, a wardrobe, chest of drawers and a bedside cabinet. The spacious bathroom which is shared by both bedrooms. The first floor has: Bedrooms 3 and 4, both of which have a double bed, fitted wardrobe and an en-suite shower room with shower, sink and toilet. Across from the lounge you go out onto a private patio area with a gas barbecue, tables and chairs and sun loungers. From here you can see all the pool area and across the Gibourne valley. Gite 3 (sleeps 5) The modern fitted kitchen is reached via the courtyard, and has a gas cooker, a dshwasher, a washing machine, a fridge/freezer and a microwave. The lounge is Bedrooms 1 and 2 are on the ground floor, one with a single bed, wardrobe and bedside table, and the other with a set of bunk beds, a wardrobe and a bedside table. Adjacent to both bedrooms is a toilet and vanity sink. On the first floor is: Bedroom 3, the master bedroom with a double bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers. The bathroom is across the landing and has a bath, large vanity sink and toilet. Across from the lounge is the private patio area with a gas barbecue, table, chairs and sun loungers, and from here you can see all the pool area and across the Gibourne valley. Gite 4 (sleeps 10) The fully fitted
kitchen is
entered from the courtyard and is An archway leads to the lounge with a beamed ceiling and exposed stone walls. There is a TV and video and plenty of room to relax. Bedroom 1 is on the ground floor and is situated across the hallway from the lounge. It has two single beds. Bedroom 2 has a set of bunk beds. The shower room is adjacent to these two bedrooms and has shower, sink and toilet. On the first floor are: Bedroom 3, the master bedroom with a double bed and an en-suite shower room with large vanity unit, sink, shower and toilet. Bedroom 4 has a double bed and again is equipped with an en-suite shower room with large vanity sink, shower and toilet. Outside, the private patio is across from the lounge and has a gas barbecue, tables, chairs and sun loungers. There are views of the pool area and across the Gibourne valley. Getting
