Your Stay

Included in the price of your stay is a welcome pack. We appreciate that sometimes if you arrive late on your holiday, the last thing that you want to worry about it what to eat that evening so we always try and provide some delicious locally baked bread and some of the cheese that normandy is famous for, such as brie, camembert or pont l'eveque.

Health and Beauty

To add something special to your stay I offer health and beauty treatments to enjoy during your stay.

I am a qualified and experienced beauty therapist and offer a wide range of treatments such as:

• Manicures and Pedicures
• Relaxing Facials
• Back, head and neck massage

Babysitting service

If it is of interest to you perhaps later in your stay when you feel comfortable with us, we'd like to offer a baby-sitting service.

We understand that when you're on holiday as a young family you don't have much time together as a couple. To help you make the most of your well earned holiday I would stay in the gite to give you a chance to go and have an evening out or a good evening meal in a local restaurant.

Things to do in Normandy

There is just so much to do, whatever your taste and whatever type of holiday you're looking for.

Whether you're looking to discover the history of the region or are a young family looking to have fun-filled days with the children, everything is catered for nearby.

Try a day trip to the 'Iles de Chausey' just half an hour off the coast of Granville.

Take a picnic and walk around the main island. Enjoy the beaches and discover Chausey's famous former inhabitant.

At low tide there are in fact over 350 small islands that make up Europes largest archipelago.

For the History:

The landing Beaches, the museums, The Bayeux Tapestry, Le Mont St Michel, Les Iles de Chausey.

For the Kids:

Champprepus Zoo - fabulous zoo - highly recommended, with great play area for the kids (three bouncy castles, ball pool and excellent climbing frame. Set in beautifully kept grounds.

Cité de la Mer' - A excellent days outing. Exhibition over several floors about all aspects of the sea, visit a French submarine and new attraction 'walk under the sea'

For the adventurous:

Bungee jumping, Jump from a viaduct designed by Gustaff Eiffe!.

Getting there

The region is an easy drive from the ferry ports of Caen, Le Havre, St Malo and Cherbourg.

Ryanair fly from Stanstead to Dinard.
