it's a golfing break, a relaxing holiday or just a Set in the countryside with beautiful gardens, outdoor pool, a small fishing lake, boules court and a children's play area, we are just a 10-minute drive away from the beautiful historic market town of St. Lo. After a hard days site seeing or golfing, why not unwind and relax in the guest lounge or gardens with a cool drink or two? On selected evenings we can provide (by prior arrangement) a 3 course evening meal with wine in the spacious dining room. During the summer months we also offer a regular barbecue. Bed & Breakfast Accommodation We can accomodate up to 12 people in total. We have 5 bedrooms all tastefully decorated and furnished, and all benefit from luxury en-suite shower room facilities.
Our spacious family bedrooms are beautifully furnished with a double and single bed, and we can also provide a travel cot if required. The 2 twin bedrooms are both light and spacious, 1 of which overlooks the beautiful front gardens. Our balcony bedroom is furnished with a double bed and is slightly smaller than the other bedrooms, but has the benefit of a large balcony where you can sit and enjoy the views of the lake and gardens. The above prices include a continental breakfast. A 3 course evening meal including wine is available on selected evenings, by request. Per person, 22.50. Per child, (10 years and under) 11 A 30% deposit is required when booking is accepted, the remainder being payable on arrival. We do not currently have credit card facilities and accept payment only in the form of euro cash or euro cheque. Non French euro cheques will unfortunately incur a charge of 20 to cover bank charges. For the comfort and safety of all our guests, we regret that smoking is not permitted in the manoir. Please note that we also do not take pets. About our region Ideally suited for safe sandy beaches, walking, cycling, bird watching, fishing, golfing, sight seeing and much much more. Some places of interest are listed below:- St.Lo. (10 mins) has many shops, cafes and fine restaurants to suit all tastes and pockets. St.Lo. paid a heavy price for the liberation of France (June-July 1944) with 95% of the town being destroyed. You can still see and walk around the castle walls and gardens. Famous also for their Horse breeding (National Stud), displays are performed at the stud to visitors during the summer months. The local Saturday market is well worth visiting, if only to taste some of the local produce, especially the cheeses. D-Day Landing Beaches, St. Mere Eglise, Utah, Omaha, Gold, Sword and Juno are all within easy reach and are between 30 minutes and 50 minutes drive away. There are many museums to visit along the coastline, where discounts are given when visiting one or more museums. Bayeux (40 mins) home of the fanmous tapestry that depicts the Norman conquest. With its medievel streets, cathedral, galleries and museums, as well as shops, nice cafes and restaurants, Bayeux is well worth a visit. Mont. St. Michel (1 hour) the Benedictine Abbey dates back to around the year 500, and is visited by thousands of people every year from all around the world, who visit to pay pilgrimage. Granville (45 mins) excellent beaches, links golf course, good restaurants and shops. Daily ferries to the Island of Jersey and Guernsey (1 hour). For the children, we are within easy reach of safe sandy beaches, zoos, alligator park, miniature railway, city of the sea, swimming pools, and so much more....... Paris - why not have a day out in the romantic capital of France? Easily accessible by road (3 hours approx) or train (2 1/2 hours) from the station 15 minutes away. The standard of roads in France are excellent making driving and cycling more enjoyable. Golf - There are several first class golf courses suitable for low or high handicap golfers.

Any information on these golf courses including prices can be forwarded to you on request. Getting there From Cherbourg, take the N13 towards Caen. After 39 miles, exit on to the N174 towards St.Lo. Drive through St.Jean DeDaye, and at the second roundabout turn right on to the new dual carriageway (N174) continue on N174 and exit at junction 7. Turn right on to D900 towards Periers. After 3/4 mile take the first right turn to Amigny. Saule Manoir is facing you, the car park is situated at the rear of the manoir. From Caen ferry port, pick up the D514 signposted Caen. Drive around the periphery and exit at junction 9 on to the A84 signposted Rennes/Mont St. Michel. Exit A84 at junction 40 on to the N174 dual carriageway towards St.Lo. Exit N174 at junction 7, turn left on to D900 towards Periers. After 3/4 mile take the first right turn to Amigny. Saule Manoir is facing you, the car park is situated at the rear of the manoir.
