our B&B Sitting on the edge of a small peaceful village with shop/tabac/bar, La Maugerie has been lovingly & sympathetically refurbished to a high standard. Whilst retaining its character we have added modern facilities for your comfort and to make your stay enjoyable. We have two spacious south facing ensuite bedrooms with glorious views across the valley. Each room can take an extra single bed comfortably and a travel cot is also available. Both rooms have tea & coffee making facilities. Family room with double bed and two singles plus large en-suite bathroom. Our rooms are light and airy but still retain their original features. Guests dining area.

We have a no smoking & no pets policy. About our region Although we are in a relaxed and quiet spot with plenty of walking & hiking trails, we are only 10 kms from Villedieu Les Poéles, a fantastic historical town where you can watch the artisans creating their famous copperware. Be careful as you will almost certainly be tempted to make a few purchases. Vire, the capital of Normandy with its fine restaurants and museums etc is approximately 15 kms east. A visit to the Normandy landing beaches or Bayeaux, famous for its tapestry and the city of Caen can all be reached within the hour. Mont St. Michel 40 mins and the beautiful coastal town of Granville with its miles of glorious beaches and wonderful seafood restaurants is 30 mins distant. Here at La

We look forward to welcoming you all to our home. Getting there By ferry: There are regular ferries from Portsmouth & Poole to Cherbourg and Caen, Le Harve & St Malo. Also Newhaven to Le Harve & Dieppe and Dover to Boulogne. By air: There are regular flights from Stanstead and East Midlands to Dinard, Manchester, Edinburgh to Rennes and also from Newcastle and Edinburgh to Paris. Leave the A84 at junction 39 , head for Pont Farcy, turn right at the crossroads heading towards Villedieu. After approximately 2 kms you will see the signs for St. Vigor des Monts on the left.
