About our holiday gite (sleeps 4)  Les Jasmins, which will sleep 4 people, has recently been renovated to a very high standard. Although the gite is quite private it is
attached to our main house so we are there for any help
or advice you may want about the area, places to visit,
etc.
There is a well fitted
kitchen area with birch units, an oven and hob,
microwave, fridge,washing machine,toaster, iron and
dishwasher – who wants to wash up on holiday! Plus
all the glasses, china and utensils etc. you are likely
to need. Bedrooms - there are two bedrooms each with a double bed, fitted wardrobe, antique pine chest of drawers with mirror and bedside ‘pot’cupboards, bedside lamps, chairs and tea and coffee making facilities and hair dryer. One bedroom
overloooks the garden and orchard, the Shower Rooms – each bedroom has its own quality en-suite shower room with heated towel rail, for lovely warm towels. So if you want a peaceful, comfortable stay in the heart of the French countryside then Les Jasmins is just the place for you. The gite has its own private south facing garden where you can take meals surrounded by colourful plants and shrubs. Deck chairs are provided for you to sit back and enjoy the summer sunshine. It has double glazing and electrical central heating for those cold nights and off-season visits.All linen is provided - bed linen, towels (excluding beach towels), tea towels, etc. with a full change midweek. All electricity is also included. Dinner can be provided at a reasonable cost for those who don’t want to cook and there are bikes for those who want to explore at a slower pace. We have tried to think of
10% discount for two week bookings. All prices are per week – Saturday to Saturday (other days may be possible away from the main season so please ask us). Arrivals after 4.00 p.m. and departures by 10.30 a.m. but we can be flexible. Regretfully no children under the age of 16. No pets and no smoking please. The gite is available for short breaks from October to April. Please contact us for details. A 30% deposit (non returnable) is required at the time of booking, with the balance to be paid 6 weeks before arrival. A breakages deposit of £100 is required at the time of the final balance being paid and this will be returned within 2 weeks of your departure. Remember – you only need to bring beach towels as all other linen is provided. About our region We are 20 minutes south of Mont St. Michel and therefore ideally situated for exploring both Normandy and Brittany as well as The Loire, whether for a holiday or house hunting. Villeperdue is a small, very
quiet, hamlet too small to be shown on most maps so look
for Sacey, our nearest village, which is 1.5 km away
between Pontorson and Antrain. The Normandy landing beaches and the Bayeux tapestry make an very interesting day out. Plus, of course, Le Mont St. Michel should not be missed. Normandy is famous, amongst other things, for its cider and Calvados brandy so why not visit the producers and sample before you buy! Our nearest town is Antrain, which is 5 minutes away by car, where there is a boulangerie and boucherie as well as two small supermarkets for any of your self catering needs. Pontorson, near Mont St. Michel, and St. James, with its American WW2 Cemetery, are both 10 minutes away and have major supermarkets, all the shops you could require as well as a wide range of restaurants.
