our region The
Manor House is situated close to the Normandy Landing
Beaches, in particular Utah Beach, and just five minutes
from the village of Ste Mère Eglise, the first village
to be liberated by the Allied Forces in June 1944. The
beach is literally five minutes from the house. Quite
apart from its fame for this reason, the area has lots to
offer the visitor. Each room in the Manor House has
been uniquely designed to create a personalised
atmosphere and all are furnished with a mix of
contemporary and antique Norman furniture. All rooms have
private baths. There is an attractive dining room and a
library, a warm and comfortable room with a fireplace
which invites guests to curl up and relax with a book.
Outside, the grounds are
extensive, with a peaceful park in which to walk or read
in the shade of birches and chestnut trees. The property is
situated just 30 minutes from Cherbourg, 50 minutes from
Caen and 50 minutes from Carpiquet, where there is an
airport. It is 3 hours from Paris.
Smoking is not permitted in the rooms, and we regret that pets are not accepted. Guests are kindly asked to provide an estimated time of arrival. Special Week-ends We run special week-ends for relaxation and the management of stress. This is the perfect place to rest and unwind for the price of €40 euros per management session.
