About
our region The properties are located on the outskirts of the village of Le Teilleul, in the department of La Manche, just off the N176 Paris/Mont St Michel route. Within a short distance is the interesting medieval town of Domfront with St Hilaire du Harcourt and its many good restaurants and large open air market an equi distance. The walled city of Fougeres has an old château and the forests on the outskirts boast a fine recreational area for walking, biking, horseriding and a lake with a beach for bathing. The famous Mont St Michel is only 40 minutes away and the coves around St Malo or the long sandy beaches at Joulouville an hour away.  About our properties Les Bouillons consists of: The Main Farmhouse - Bed and Breakfast Orchard Studio - gite Courtyard Stable - gite On site facilities for all the properties include availability to fish in the lake, swim or relax in the new plunge pool in landscaped gardens, children's play area, table tennis, barbecues and always a warm welcome from our friendly animals. Main Farmhouse - Bed and Breakfast This old Normandy farmhouse set
in a courtyard has Orchard Studio apartment (sleeps 2) This mainly open plan apartment forms part of the main farmhouse with its own separate entrance. The studio comprises: A kitchen area, which is fully equipped
with all the necessary cooking utensiles including a
microwave, cooker and fridge. One double bedroom. A bathroom with a shower, basin and WC, not a bath. Bed linen and fuel are included in the price. There is satellite TV, and the use of a washing machine in the main farmhouse, where evening meals are also available. Orchard Gite (sleeps 4/8) This property is the same as the above mentioned but with the bonus of two extra double bedrooms with a bathroom on the first floor, and an annexe with an extra beds available. Courtyard Stable Gite This gite adjoins
the main farmhouse with its own entrance overlooking the
courtyard A kitchen/dining/lounge area wihich is open plan and has a sofa bed for extra sleeping space. The kitchen is well equipped with a microwave, cooker and fridge/freezer as well as all the necessary utensils. Bedroom 1, a double bedroom, is on the ground level with en suite facilities. Bedroom 2, a twin bedded room, is comfortable and well equipped and is on a mezzanine floor with a ladder type staircase (not suitable for very young children). There is a second toilet and shower room on the ground floor. A washing machine is available in the main farmhouse and evening meals at €15.00. This gite has been designed to help wheelchair users, with handrails and flat floors in the ensuite main bedroom. An access ramp is fitted to aid an easy entrance, and the doorways are wide enough for a wheelchair. Outside, there is a small decked patio for outside dining. Bed linen is
supplied, and electricity is supplied by a meter; extra
tokens may be purchased during the colder months. Les Bouillons is easily
accessible from the Channel ports of Cherbourg and Caen,
being only 1½ to 2 hours drive away, or 3 hours from Le
Havre. The nearest airport is Dinard or Caen. Orchard
