About
our properties These superbly equipped houses are set in 2 acres, amongst apple, pear and cherry trees, giving a tremendous display of blossom in spring. The undulating, tree-bordered fields, orchards and classic bocage of the area provide a special flavour of the real Normandy Roads with very little traffic allow access to - Within 10 minutes : great restaurants, bakeries, good supermarket, several villages, and the town of Brécey Within 20 minutes : zoos and theme parks, 2nd world war sites, golf, lakes and fishing.withiin an hour to: Mont St Michel, , St Malo old town, Caen, the coast with wonderful sandy beaches, ferry day trips to The Channel Isles. /dining room / living room. Original fireplace with wood-burning stove. Oak beams exposed stone walls. Kitchen Washing machine, dishwasher, microwave,
gas cooker with oven, electric kettle. Upstairs Two double bedrooms, a single bedroom and a bathroom with a shower over the bath. All rooms have exposed stone walls. Le Gite (2 bedrooms, sleeps 4) Le Gite was completed in April 2007. It is a two-bedroom gite built on the site of a two-hundred year old property. Downstairs A living room which is spacious and comfortable and has
a television with Sky TV and a DVD The kitchen/diner has a washing machine, dishwasher, fridge and microwave. All units are new (April 2007) and the feel is light and bright. In the dining area there is a table and
four chairs by the window. Kettle, toaster, The whole of the downstairs has a ceramic tiled floor, in the French style. There are exposed oak beams as well as the pine staircase. Upstairs Bathroom with white suite. Bath, shower over bath,
wash The master bedroom has a double bed, storage space, wardrobe and a small table and two chairs by the window. Twin bedroom has two single beds and a chest of drawers. The bedrooms and landing have cushion flooring and the bathroom has floor tiles. The views from the solid oak bedroom windows are spectacular looking over the rest of our site and open countryside and valley beyond. The landing has a stair-gate. All windows, except the bathroom, are south-facing. A high chair and / or cot are available on request. Le Gite also has free internet access via an ethernet cable. Outside Le Gite has its own gravelled patio area in front and a grassed garden to the side. There is a laurel hedge and shrubs to give privacy but not take away the pleasant view. Table, chairs and a barbecue are provided. We are very proud of our new gite and hope that you will come to stay in it and find it as comfortable and attractive as we have tried to make it. Swimming Pool The heated pool

Getting There The hamlet of La Hallotière is situated between Brécey and Sourdeval just outside the village of Le Mesnil Gilbert, 18 miles south of Vire and 16 miles east of Avranches, in the south of La Manche, Normandy.
