The moat house offers in a recently refurbished comfortable interior 4 double bedrooms, including a two room suite, with private bathrooms.

History of the Manoir

Le Manoir du Quesnay, the main section of a typical fortified Bessin farmhouse, with its towers and loopholes windows, its stone fireplaces and staircases, exposed oaks beams, sculptures on the walls, attesting to the refined style of its 15th century architecture. The Knight of Le Quesnay (first owner of the Manoir) is buried nearby the manor, in the church of Saon. The sculpture of the knight wearing his armour can still be seen in that church . The Manoir du Quesnay  as well as its lands surrounding the place has remained within the actual owners family for over 150 years.

From Paris:

Take Peripherique ouest exit ' Porte de Saint Cloud' for Direction Rouen.

Take the A13 towards Rouen and Caen.

At Caen follow A13 towards Cherbourg and exit at junction No. 38 for 'Tour-en-Bessin'.

Follow the road ( D613 ) towards ' Tour-en-Bessin'.

After Mosles turn left onto the D29 in the Direction of Trevieres and Mandeville-en-Bessin.

When you reach 'Douville' turn left in the direction of Le Quesnay.

Le Manoir du Quesnay is 250m further on at the end of a tree lined avenue.
