About
our apartments Mas de Puech, started in 1804 and built on arched cellars, consists of several buildings situated around a central courtyard, the property was designed as a self contained estate with its own vineyard. All the buildings are south facing, and surrounded by aromatic plants, as well as Mediterranean trees and vines. The Farmhouse consists of two separate buildings joined together by a central
courtyard. The seven individually designed self catering
apartments are on two separate levels and will cater for
all of the requirements you may have.Each apartment has its own private terrace and the old stable has been converted into a room with vaulted ceiling that can be used for meetings, wine tasting or just a quiet place to read. The large swimming pool with its own terrace, changing room, toilet and shower was completed in June 2005. The Mas (old
French farmhouse) is situated within its own vineyard and
at present has 18 hectares (45 acres) of vines under
cultivation, together with another 20 hectares (50 acres)
of Garrigue (native Mediterranean vegetation). At
the present time we are in the middle of extensive vine
replanting programme. All of the wine lovers amongst you will be in heaven with the 'degustation' experience. Apartment 1: Cabernet Sauvignon 3 bedrooms - Sleeps 6 The apartment consists of two stories joined by classical winding stairs with preserved stone walls. Downstairs: The kitchen with painted solid oak doors and marble worktop has top of the range built in Bosch appliances: dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and oven. There is one toilet with wash basin unit and large mirror. Upstairs: The fully tiled bathroom has separate shower and bath, the adjacent separate toilet has its own wash basin. Apartment 2: Carignan 3 Bedrooms - Sleeps 6/8 This single
storey apartment is situated in the oldest part of the
Mas, (which was constructed in 1804) and has many
original features of the building retained. The Large Dining/Living Room has views of the vines. The couch can be converted into a double bed. There are 3
Bedrooms; 1 with double bed and en-suite fully tiled
shower &
wash basin, plus a built in wardrobe. There is an adjacent toilet with wash hand basin. The kitchen with its solid oak painted doors is fully equipped with built in appliances and marble worktop, is south facing and overlooks the courtyard. Apartment 3: Sauvignon 3 Bedrooms - Sleeps 6/8 This apartment has views to the North & South of the Mas as well as its own private terrace accessed from the master bedroom overlooking the courtyard. The Dining/Living Room has views over the terrace and courtyard. The couch can be converted into a double bed. The kitchen with its solid oak
painted doors is fully equipped with built in appliances
and marble worktop. The bathroom has a fully tiled walk in shower and wash basin with marble top. The tiled toilet has its own wash hand basin. Apartment 4: Chardonnay 2 Bedrooms + Mezanine Bedroom - Sleeps 6/8 This attractive apartment has its own covered terrace area and views of the vines and village. The kitchen with its solid oak painted doors is fully equipped with built in appliances and marble worktop The Dining/Living Room also has views of the vines and village; the couch can be converted into a double bed if required. There is one downstairs bedroom with double bed. The downstairs bathroom has tiled shower and toilet with wash hand basin and marble top. Upstairs there is one bedroom with double bed and a Mezzanine Bedroom with 2 single beds. The upstairs toilet has shower, toilet and wash hand basin with marble top. Apartment 5: Cinsault 2 Bedrooms - sleeps 2/6 This single storey, bright attractive apartment has easy access, adjacent to the gardens the scents of the flowers and sights of the butterflies can be enjoyed while relaxing on the terrace. Apartment 6: Viognier 2 Bedrooms - Sleeps 2/6 This single storey, attractive apartment has easy access; its large patio windows give it a bright airy feeling. large patio doors and its own terrace has views of the
garden and the garrigue. The tiled bathroom has a shower, with wash basin and marble top. The separate toilet has its own wash basin. Apartment 7: Syrah 3 Bedrooms - Sleeps 6 A feature of this
large apartment is the original wooden beams, which
formed part of the original building (constructed in
1894). The large and spacious Dining/Living Room features a solid oak dining table and chairs and a wood burning stove for guests staying in spring or autumn. There are 3 Bedrooms (two with a double bed and one with twin beds). All bedrooms have pine wardrobe and bedside lockers. The bathroom has separate bath and shower, toilet and wash basin with marble top. There is also a separate toilet with wash basin. The Mas is situated in the
middle of its own vines and it is possible to walk for
miles through the vines and garrigue, with only the
natural beauty and flora and fauna of the area for
company. Around the pool there is table tennis and electronic darts. Within easy reach of the Mas the following activities are available: Climbing, Walking, Water sports, Karting,
Fishing, Museums and Sites of Special Interest. Places to Visit: St Jean de Serres is easily accessed from Paris, the UK and Ireland via excellent air road and rail links.
