About
our property Marseillette is between the Corbieres and the Minervois wine growing areas and close to the villages of Trebes and Capendu (10 minutes) and Carcassonne (15 minutes) and 40 minutes from the beaches of Narbonne. Les Petites Ecuries' (The Small Stables) owners have started to renovate the property and have named the house nearest the pool, Tango after one of the four horses from the old stables. The grounds around Tango are landscaped and the majority of the acre around the main house is currently in lawn, with some large trees. Tango has been equipped and decorated to a very high standard by its interior designer owners. This is a beautiful single level house with views over the pool (70 sq.mtrs). The accommodation comprises Living/dining room with CD player with a selection of CD's. Twin double doors open up onto the terrace and pool. New open kitchen fully equipped to a very high standard and includes dishwasher, electric hob and oven, family fridge/freezer, espresso coffee maker.

by a tiled terrace, Tango guests have the sole use of a beautiful HEATED (28 degrees all year round) salt water pool. This sun soaked pool is great for the whole family in that the pool is split into thirds, the first third is 900mm deep so young children can stand up and play, the next is sloping down to the final third which is 2 meters deep great for diving etc. At the deep end there is a ledge that young children and the less confident swimmers can stand on when in the deep end. Mountain Bikes Even though we have about 20 bikes to rent its best to order to ensure that the right ones for you are available on your arrival, as we do rent these out to others. All prices are per week, Saturday 4 pm to Saturday 10 am. Deposit
required of 25 % and final payment is due Outside high season other arrival and departure days, or shorter stays, can be discussed. Reluctantly we cannot accept animals. Included
in rental - All bed linen (sheets, pillowcases.) Starter
pack - (milk, butter,
baguette, eggs, 2 jams, coffee/tea, coffee filters, 1
litre orange juice, bag sugar, 2 bottles mineral water, 2
toilet roll, washing up liquid, kitchen roll, salt and
pepper, 2 dishcloths, cooking oil, bin bags, variety
cleaning products and of course local Wines 1 bottle each

you are house hunting for your own house in France, in
the Languedoc then Tango is close to Carcassonne and
Perpignan airports and the many estate agents in
Carcassonne. Southern France is beautiful in the Spring and early Summer. Its not that hot that you need to take shelter from the midday sun. Ideal for walks or cycling along the tow path of the Canal du Midi, playing golf, or exploring the local villages. For your arrival and enjoyment at Tango we have prepared a book containing all the local information, supermarkets, doctors, dentists, Boulangerie/Patisserie and Charcuterie/Boucherie. Marseillette, Trebes, Capendu and Carcassonne have all the essential shops and there is an excellent choice of restaurants within a reasonable distance (walking and by car). Markets in the villages around Marseillette are on different days of the week and are well worth a visit. There are riding stables 3 kms from here and tennis courts in Trebes (7 kms), hiking or cycling routes into the Alaric hills or along the canal. The Jouarres and Cavayre lakes (15 and 10 kms) have supervised swimming and a hire base for sailboards and kayaks. The beaches of Gruissan, Leucates and Narbonne Plage are about 40 minutes by car. The medieval city of Carcassonne
(15 minutes by car) and the ancient Cathare chateaux
(within an hour's drive) are all well worth seeing. The
Canal du Midi and the locks at Marseillette and Trebes
are interesting places to pass the time of day, while
some prefer to walk along the Canals' tow paths under the
shade of the large plane trees. Airports: Carcassonne - Ryanair 20 minutes Road: From Calais - 10 hours on A61 Exit motorway at (A61 Carcassonne Est. exit), then the Route Nationale 113 for about .5 kms until signposted Trebes and D610.
