Situated near the Medieval cité of Carcassonne, and within easy driving from Carcassonne Airport, Le Castel Enchanté, is the perfect place to stay, for exploring the Languedoc region.

In a wonderful location with superb views of the countryside just 15 minutes from the Centre of Carcassonne is “Le Castel Enchanté” in the village of Fonties D’Aude.

"Chambre Rose" which has canopied bed, sunken bath and also private Terrace ( perfect for honeymoons )

Our road leads onto vineyard, perfect for walkers.

Lagrasse is only 15-20 minutes away.Lagrasse is a lively medieval village and designated as one of the prettiest in France.

All amenities are very close. Restaurants/Banks Hairdressers etc., in the village of Trebes only 5 minutes away.

Getting there

Airports: Carcassonne (15 mins), Montpellier (90 mins), Perpignan (60 mins), Toulouse (70 mins)

Convient for the A61 Motorway both directions Toulouse/Narbonne/Barcelona.

Directions: Take the N113 direction Lezignan from the Centre of Carcassonne – just before reaching Trebes take and follow the D3 direction Fonties D’Aude and Lagrasse enter the village of Fonties D’Aude and just up the hill you will find Chemin de Matet on the right hand side
