Our 600 acre working farm is surounded by acres of farmland, a woodland cycle track and a 10 acre private coarse fishing lake. It is set in the historic unspoilt region of Aude, famous for "Les Châteaux du Pays Cathar" with its many historical castles, towns and villages. The medieval city of Carcassonne, old market town of Castelnaudary, Mirepoix and Revel are all within easy reach. There are many beauty spots such as the gorges of Quillan and the underground boat trips through the caves near Foix. Golf, sailing, white water rafting and riding are a few of the nearby activities available. This is also a region of many classic French wines, so a perfect way to enjoy a relaxing holiday in France.
We are situated 2km from the village of Villepinte, where you will find a baker, grocery shop, butcher, chemist, post office and a very pleasant restaurant. The Canal du Midi passes nearby and the coast is just a one hour drive.

About our property

St. Marie is a fully equipped downstairs apartment with a large private swimming pool. The property consists of a:

Shower and separate WC

Bedroom 1, a double bedroom.

Bedroom 2, a twin bedroom.

There is a private, shaded patio with table, chairs and barbecue, and of course, the large, 11m x 5m swimming pool with diving board.

Prices and booking information

All bed linen and towels (except beach/pool towels) are provided. All electricity, gas and water charges are included in the price so there are no hidden charges. This property is suitable for the elderly and children. We regret that no pets are allowed.
Our changeover day is Saturday. Out of season the changeover day is negotiable.

Getting there

If flying, Ryanair do fabulous deals from Stansted, Liverpool, East Midlands, Dublin & Shannon to Carcassonne which is just 20 minutes away. The larger airport at Toulouse is 1 hour away.
