About Frejus
This small Roman medieval town links to the larger town of St Raphael. Situated midway between Cannes & St Tropez, this ideal location enables you to visit the beautiful coastal area both East to Cannes, Nice, Monte Carlo and into Italy (approx. 1 hour on the Autoroute)
To the West, nearby St Aygulf and on to St Maxime, St Tropez and beyond towards the Spanish border.
Frejus has a superb selection of restaurants, winding streets, the Roman ruins, weekly markets with a large one on Saturday mornings.
The Aquatica leisure centre provides a wonderful visit for old and young to enjoy the pleasures of water slides, etc.
Nearby a Go Kart centre for those wanting to experience racing, even if not to Formula One standard!
The wonderful Gorges de Verdon, with its spectacular views, is worth visiting and it is about 45 minutes drive from Frejus.
There are 2 large supermarkets in Frejus, together with smaller ones and large selection of private bakeries providing an excellent selection of French cuisine.
Why bother going to go to Monte Carlo to break the bank? There is a large Casino on the main road, facing the sea, in St Raphael.
Frejus is a town that you will want to visit again and again and again.
