About our property
Surrounded by vines and sunflowers, three comfortable gites providing accomodation for between two and five people. Ideal for holidays or when house hunting.
Each gite has its own character and they are on three different sides of our gardened courtyard.
Living in the main house with our family we are usually available if you should need us. Some people want to simply relax and do nothing when on holiday - a chance to sit and dream or the time to read a good book at last.
Others want to walk, cycle, explore...
Discover or rediscover this lovely area of France and experience a different pace of life.
Children usually prefer a little more action and will be kept happily occupied with all the things to do here at La Cabane.
We have a beautiful 10m heated and securely enclosed pool with safety alarm, toddlers paddling pools available, a sandpit and a good selection of toys.
We also have table tennis, french boules, a huge area in the meadow for playing football, swings, a couple of slides, a climbing frame, a giant top quality trampoline and plus bikes in various sizes to borrow free of charge.
La Sorciere (sleeps 4 + baby)
This gite owes its name to the witch weather vane on the roof.
La Sorciere sleeps up to five (4 + baby or small child) in two upstairs bedrooms.
It has creamy exposed stone walls, old beams and a traditional Charentaise stone fireplace with an efficient wood burning stove for cooler months.
Very comfortable and fully equipped with TV/DVD, garden furniture,barbecue,full sized fridgefreezer,dishwasher,cooker with oven, microwave etc... plus a utility room with washing machine.
