Kettle, DVD Player with Screen & Radio & is very well equipped. Situated close to all amenities and ideal for families with children. Also includes Bed Linen and Towels for 6 Persons. The Mobile will also be cleaned after departure.

About our region

Welcome to the coastal area of St. Tropez / Sainte Maxime,  in the Var Region of Provence & the Cote d`Azur. With nearby villages of Ramatuelle, Gassin, Cogolin, Grimaud.

Airports serving the region are:- Nice, Toulon/Hyeres, Marseilles. All within 50 to 100 minutes drive.

This is where you can mix with the rich and famous in some of the resorts such as Juan les Pins, Cannes, St.Tropez, within easy reach by road or by boat.

St. Tropez & Ports:- Grimaud, Cogolin and several other different harbours along the coast; it offers a sailing haven and the ideal place for boating enthusiasts.

Along its 42km. of coastline you can discover sandy beaches, creeks & inlets, all carved out of the famous red rock of the Esterel Mountains. Such as the well known names of Kon tiki, Pampeloni.

With a Casino, clubs, Restaurants, Bars, interesting markets and much more.

You will be able to discover traditional festivities in every season. There are jousting tournaments, celebrations of St. Baume and St. Pierre, Mimosa Week, jazz festivals, and other typical St. Tropez entertainments. All the local villages have their own festivals. In May (12-15) is the Halry Davidson Festival, Port Grimaud.!

Taking a day trip away to see other wonderful locations is a must. There are numerous coach excursions to choose from.

The railway also offers fantastic views for a reasonable price. Why not take the car and stay away over-night in a small B+B and discover the countryside to its fullest.

Towards Italy or  Marseille along the coast road is worth the experience but slow going during July/August.

Cannes (Port is very impressive) is also an interesting place to stop & look around. Antibes port & old town (experience the restaurants at night) including the undercover day market. Sainte Maxime, Cavalaire, Le Lavandou, Cassis.

Nice has plenty to offer, large boulevards, department stores, the old town & restaurants, cafes & bars, and daily a market (different theme every day).

Park your car in the underground car park. Villefranche-sur-mer & old town originating from the 14thC., previously a naval port with a citadele (1560) part of which is now the town hall & also has a collection of submarine archeology from the wreck of a Genoese ship of the 16thC. Park & walk with your camera.

Eze Village (halfway to Monte-Carlo) Isolated & a prime example of a hill village which clings like an eagle's nest, to a rock spike towering 410ft.above the sea.

With a panoramic view from the jardin exotique, and ancient castle. Walk around the narrow streets and restored houses.

Menton - Claims to be the warmest resort on the Riviera. Long sandy beaches, two marinas, festivities & cultural events.

Famous for its “Menton” lemons and the Fete du Citron. At the far end of Menton is the Italian border line. I will be happy to help and advise on bookings and tours as you require.

I will be delighted to discuss rates.  Parc St James also ask an Entry Fee of 84 Euros per Family per Week - July & August and 70 Euros per Week all other times(calculated per day). This is already INCLUDED in the price. Plus a camp gate  access card deposit of 20 euros. (Refunded on departure) Plus the usual Tourist Tax .60 cents per person above age of 13 yrs. per day.

Getting there

Parc St. James is 10-15 minutes from, St. Maxime/St. Tropez, and the beaches. The nearest beach is Marines de Cogolin, just 5 minutes drive.  On a 30 hectare scenic forestry area located approx. 35 minutes from the A8 motorway (J-36), enabling fast/ easy connection to other locations. Toulon/Hyeres Airport is the most convenient for this region, and also Nice, Marseilles.  Car hire is available at either airports. Calais is about 720 miles and takes approx. 10 - 12 hours drive. A Transfer service can be arranged from either airport, which will be cheaper than airport taxis.
