Bedroom 1: Our very private double en-suite has its own small lobby with bedroom and bathroom leading off.

The bathroom which is new for 2008 has a large shower, bath, toilet, wash basin with shaving point and heated towel rail with heater.

The spacious bedroom has a French double bed, comfy sofa,T.V, tea and coffee making facilities.

Bedroom 2: An en-suite bedroom with twin beds, comfortable armchairs, and tea & coffee making facilities, TV, and shower room with toilet, shower and handbasin. (No children under the age of 10 please).

We offer continental breakfast between 8.a.m and 9.a.m Fruit juice, yogurt, cereals, croissant, toast, brioche scrambled egg, home made conserves, local honey, and fresh fruit from our garden when in season.

About our region

La Haie is a very quiet hamlet half an hour from the port of St. Malo, Dinard airport, and the beautiful town of Dinan.

The popular seaside town of Cancale is also only half an hour away, with its plentiful supply of restaurants, the focus being on locally caught seafood! The bay of Mont St. Michel is a short drive away with its many attractions - shops restaurants and fantastic views.

La Haie is an ideal spot for golfers and walkers alike, the golf course of Les Ormes is a short drive away. The local town of Dol with its pretty streets and many shops cafes and restaurants is just two minutes by car and has a swimming pool and local cinema, there is a market every Saturday morning selling local produce and crafts.

Isle Besnard, a beautiful sandy beach that is perfect for swimming is 35 minutes away, and has a headland that has far reaching views over the sea, it will take you about half an hour to stroll around the headland where you will find great opportunities for the perfect photo shots.

Whether you are thinking of having a week's holiday or just taking a short break we feel that La Haie will be the ideal place for you to relax and unwind.

B&B booking conditions: a non refundable deposit of 30 Euros. Credit cards not accepted. Our property is non-smoking. We are sorry but we cannot accept pets.

Getting There

The nearest port is St, Malo, with overnight ferries from Portsmouth by Brittany Ferries. There are also connections from Weymouth via The Channel Isles to St. Malo in the summer season.

The port of Cherbourg is also very useful with connections from Poole and Portsmouth, with normal ferries and high speed crossings. The port of Caen via Portsmouth also has high speed ferries and is about 2 hours from Dol de Bretagne.

By air: Flights to Dinard Airport (30 minutes from Dol de Bretagne) by Ryanair, from East Midlands and Stanstead. Car hire available at the airport.

DIRECTIONS TO LA HAIE FROM RENNE-

Take the N137 towards ST. MALO. Just after a place called HEDE take the D795 to COMBOURG, then just before you reach DOLL look for a sign for MUSEE DE LA PAYSANNERIE. Turn left here, then take the next right at the small crossroads. We are about one and a half klms along this road on the right. You may park outside our garage marked no, 5.

DIRECTIONS TO LA HAIE FROM ST, MALO. Follow TOUT directions, you will pass the race course on your left, then swing to the right continuing to follow TOUT directions. You will pass MAC DONALDS on your right at 2 mini roundabouts, continue up the hill to the big junction taking the N137 towards RENNE.

After about 15 klms take the NI76 towards MONT ST. MICHEL and DOL de BRETAGNE. After about 12 klms take the first turn off for DOL, head into town passing the Cathedral then you will come to a small roundabout, go straight over this and continue to the next roundabout and turn right.

Continue on this road, follow it to left to the next roundabout and take the second exit towards RENNE (cemetery on the left). Go down the hill and over a small stream (restaurant on your left) continue on , you will come to a place on the same road called PONT BAUDRY and you will see a sign on your left saying MANHIR DE CHAMP DOLENT, turn right here.

Continue until you come to another cemetery on your right then take a SHARP left. This lane will take you to LA HAIE , about 1klm. We are on the right, you may park outside our garage marked no, 5.
