all lived in Céret in the early twentieth
century, and the local Museum of Modern Art

Les
Rosiers is a renovated farmhouse which was built
about 1860. The  main stone walls are about
1 metre thick, which keep the house cool in
summer and warm in winter. Les Rosiers stands in
its own grounds of 3.5 acres approx, with a
variety of trees and shrubs and a natural spring. Approved by the French
Tourist Office, Les Rosiers is situated at the
edge of Ceret about 1½ km from the town centre.
Ceret offers a variety of restaurants,
tree-shaded pavement cafes, a walled old town, an
unusual old foot bridge called Devil's Bridge and
the Museum of Modern Art. Ceret is fortunate to
be close to both the French and Spanish beaches. |
