Our
house is centrally located in the medieval city
(La Cité),  just under the towering
walls of the Cité Medievale (a World Heritage
site). It is a typical French town house in a
quiet street of terraced houses. The Bastide
(later town) is only 12 minutes' walk over the
old bridge where there are many restaurants,
shops and a market 3 times a week. This
area of south west France provides a multitude of
activities and places to visit. There are the
historic towns of Toulouse, Beziers,
Castelnaudary, Pezenas ( for antiques
),Perpignan, Montpellier, Nîmes and Narbonne,
plus the many medieval hilltop villages. |
