French Gite This detached holiday cottage in Morbihan, Southern Brittany, makes an ideal peaceful base from which to explore or just relax, within one hundred acres of private land including a large fishing lake, running river and woodlands. It is spacious and comfortable and within easy reach of the Brittany beaches and other attractions. The gite has been

enclosed log burner, cooker, microwave, fridge, coffee
maker and a wealth of other facilities to make your stay
as pleasant as possible. There are three
large bedrooms, two
with 2 twin beds and The 2 downstairs bedrooms have large double glazed windows opening to the south, and the upstairs bedroom is a south facing, spacious double bed with ample storage space and sitting area. The bedrooms and lounge area are both
heated by warm air circulation from the enclosed wood
burner in the kitchen or by convector heating. Also equipped with TV / DVD, Hi-Fi, X-Box
games console and an excellent selection of films, albums
and games for all ages. The cottage
can offer whatever type of holiday you are looking for,
if you want to get away from hustle and bustle, and
escape to rural France, Penderff holiday is ideal. On the
other hand just a 5 minute walk away is the village of
Lignol with its typically French bakery, well renowned
creperie and impressive church. There are also chairs, a
garden table and barbecue, plus a private lawn area with
table and sunshade. Indoor and outdoor games are provided

Riding At Penderff there is pony riding available on site. Riding either takes place in our private all weather school or along the many tracks and trails which are part of the Penderff estate. Solar Heated Swimming Pool and Lawned Area There is an above ground swimming pool (7.10 m by 4.75m) for the exclusive use of the gite which is heated by solar panels and situated in a superb position overlooking the river valley and forests. Adjacent is lawned area with sun beds and shades, also beautifully situated in a south facing direction with extensive views over the breathtaking Breton countryside. Prices and booking information
Golf Breaks New for 2008, we are now offering short term holiday breaks for that quick getaway or long weekend of golf at one of our two local golf courses. For an exceptional golfing holiday getaway you could choose between two golf courses - the Ploermel-Ocean, the ideal place to practise your golf swing while admiring the Atlantic coast's beautiful forests and beaches. Or the Val-Queven, age old trees give way to links that provide a range of situations while round about the undulating landscape of a former estate is quite striking. You can play a round of golf while taking in some of the most stunning views France has to offer. Our breaks run from Saturday to Wednesday or vice-versa. The Local Area Pontivy Pontivy is made up of two towns wrapped around each other. There is the medieval old town with its tortuous streets and half timbered houses, and the geometric Napoleonic town. Twice in its history Pontivy has been known as Napoleonville (the town of Napoleon). The town is situated in a very rural part of Brittany known as the valley of the Blavet and the River Blavet runs through the town. The Nantes-Brest canal also runs through Pontivy and if you are taking a trip on the canal it is a good stopping off point. The town boasts a magnificent 15th century castle where guided tours are available and a 16th century church built in the flamboyant style. The surrounding countryside is replete with small villages boasting innumerable chapels of architectural and historical interest. There are well laid out walks and cycle paths for the visitor to discover the treasures of central Brittany. The lovely quiet and clean beaches of Guidel are approx. 30 mins. away, with cafes and shops within walking distance Hennebont with its famous stud, fantastic market, and beautiful old town.
