enjoyment and along The large heated swimming pool (heated May
- September) is enclosed by lawned gardens in its own
sunny position, situated next to flower beds and
overlooking the mature woodland and garden/play area.
Ample garden furniture, sun loungers and parasols are
provided. Adult mountain bikes (other sizes by arrangement) are available as is one evening baysitting session per stay. Horse riding, fishing (license & equipment required) and ice skating are available close by. Prices and Booking Information
Prices include gas, electric, bed linen and in cooler months logs. Changeover day in high season (May - September) is Saturday. However, at other times we try to be as flexible as possible. Please contact us for further details to match your requirements. Short breaks are available out of high season. Longer lets are available at discounted rates. Please contact us for details. About our region Close by are a wealth of places to visit - at the coast is the Quiberon Peninsula and fortified town of Port Louis, with it's museum of the French East Indian Company. There are hundreds of kilometres of coastline, only 40 minutes drive away, with beautiful clean beaches. Highly recommended are Guidel Plage and Lamour Plage, but one is really spoilt for choice. The scenic city of Vannes is only a 40 minute drive away with its historic old quarter and its interesting array of shops and architecture. Visit the aquarium and butterfly house. The harbour is particularly worth a visit as is Trinity-sur-Mer, a large yachting centre. The mystical standing stones of Carnac are within easy reach. Plenty of theories exist to explain their significance, some of which are explored in the visitors centre. Pontivy, the ancient capital of Napoleon is 30 km away and has a wide range of shops and restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets. Medieval Josselin is 45 minutes away with it's chateau, which is open to visitors. Enjoy cafe society in it's picturesque setting. Markets are a popular attraction with their cosmopolitan mix of rustic charm allied with the convenience of the familiar. List of markets and their days are included in the information pack in your gite. There are picturesque lakes nearby (Priziac, Guerldan and Langoelan) and most have water sport facilities. Experience Breton dancing at one of the many Fest Noz (traditional fete) held during the summer months. Often they include a reasonably priced meal and the dancing lasts until early morning. This is a fabulous opportunity to take part in one of the more traditional French activities. Brittany has so much to offer, just not enough time to see it all! Getting There Kergario is easily accessible from Dinard airport and the ferry ports of St-Malo, Caen and Cherbourg.
