B&B Brittany

“La Maison Claire”, a light airy and newly renovated B&B, Chambres d’ Hôtes, guest house.  Situated in the tiny friendly village of Les Fougerets, Brittany, (Bretagne), Morbihan.  Our lovely house is tucked at the bottom of a hamlet surrounded by farming countryside.

Accommodation

There are three private bedrooms and a guest lounge to accommodate up to 6 people. Two of the double-bedded rooms are equipped with a shower & basin.

The third room being a twin, this room has a shower room just along the landing for your own private use. All the showers are generously sized and provided with fluffy towels.

Each bedroom has plenty of storage space for your luggage and you will be assured of a relaxing nights sleep in the comfy beds.  The light and sunny bedrooms are designed with your comfort and convenience in mind and are decorated with charm.

You will also have use of a guest lounge with tea/coffee facilities in, a selection of board games and tourist information is also available. Central heated. All guest accommodation is on the second floor.

There is ample car parking facilities on site.

About our region

Around and About

La Gacilly, which is a very short drive from us has stacks to offer, a beautiful place and a real pleasure to walk around.

Rochefort-en-Terre, is a pretty medieval town, only a 10 minute drive from us. Lovely shops, restaurants and a Chateau await.

Redon has a traditional market every Monday morning. A town of waterways and flowers.

Further afield

Vannes is a 'must see'. This is a city of great charm with a lovely medieval centre. There are markets on Wednesday & Saturday mornings. A yacht packed marina, a fine arts museum and stacks of other things to do & see. A popular place with locals & tourists alike. Just 40 minutes drive from us.

Also La Roche-Bernard & the beautiful Damagan beach where you can walk or cycle along the promenade. All have their individual charms & are well worth a visit if time permits for an enjoyable day out. Driving to any of the places we have suggested is a pleasure on traffic free roads.

Getting There

We are about 1 hour and 30 minutes drive from St. Malo and Nantes and just under an hour from Rennes airport.  We are 7K from La Gacilly and located just off the D777. Precise directions will be forwarded to you upon receipt of booking for a stress free journey on traffic free roads.

Prices and booking information

The price is inclusive of a hearty breakfast, which is served between 8.00 – 9.30 am.

Discount will be given for a 7 night stay or longer.
