our region Welcome to Le Bois d'Oust, a gite in the heart of Brittany! Le Bois d'Oust is a typically Breton farmhouse set in the heart of Brittany a province unlike other parts of France. The gite can either be used as one house accommodating 16 people plus cots or be used as 2 separate houses sleep 8 per house. It is a place where people sing their own songs, speak their own tongue and maintain their own ways. Brittany is full of medieval towns, prehistoric sites, 'standing stones' and many other features of historical interest. Added to the fact that is it surrounded on three sides by the sea. The farmhouse is set in a large garden with a swimming pool to enjoy on hot sunny days. Jim and Susie have renovated their attractive home with loving care preserving the best features and creating an informal and relaxed atmosphere. They offer self-catering rental or Bed and Breakfast. The house is divided into two parts with an interconnecting door . Le Bois d'Oust Gite 1 The living room
is large and comfortable with an open granite fireplace,
cosy chairs and sofas, a lovely place to Upstairs in a separate wing of its own is a large ensuite master bedroom with an adjoining bedroom with bunk beds suitable for children. The
East wing has a spacious open plan Kitchen/Dining room fully equipped with all mod Upstairs again in its own separate wing are two other well appointed and attractively decorated bedrooms with a shared bathroom and large landing. One of the bedrooms can be used as either a children's bedroom with 2/3 single beds or as a double. Le Bois d'Oust Gite 2 This is larger than Gite 1: The living room is a big, spacious and comfortable place It leads into a beautifully furnished large dining room/kitchen with all mod cons and opens onto a fenced terrace and BBQ area, which is safe and ideal for children. A place to relax after a long day with spectacular views across the valley and sunsets to die for. Upstairs presents a large, comfortable landing which offers a welcoming sitting and writing place, just the thing for those quite moments reading, writing or just relaxing away from it all. Leading off this
spacious area are 4 luxurious bedrooms, 2 For large parties Gite 1 is accessible by an interconnecting door. Le Bois d'Oust Surrounding Areas There are four
villages less than 5 miles away where there Le Bois d'Oust is
surrounded by wonderful open countryside with marvellous
views. It is ideal for cycling holidays, walking, clubs,
groups, or family reunions.
