This lovingly restored traditional Breton cottage is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac in the charming village of Surzur, within 100 metres of the local shops, bars and supermarket. The cottage is only 10 minutes from Penvins, where there is safe bathing, golden sand and ample free parking, a great place to start your holiday planning.

It is 10 minutes from the resort town of Sarzeau with fine shops and restaurants, and only 15 minutes from the ancient walled city of Vannes, bustling with shops, vibrant restaurants and full of historic charm and interest.

Within 30 minutes from Surzur are the beaches of the Presqu'Ile de Rhuys, on the Golfe du Morbihan.

The nearby peaceful Breton village of Rochefort en Terre is like a step back in time,where one can relax and enjoy the gardens, flowers, antique shops and wonderful French cuisine.

There is great golf locally at the 18-hole course of Rhuys-Kervar, near Sarzeau.

For wining and dining, shopping, sightseeing and local history, Southern Brittany has plenty to offer and much to explore.

About our property (sleeps 8/10)

The cottage has been fully restored, with ground floor accommodation comprising:

A new fitted kitchen with washer-dryer, dishwasher, halogen cooker and microwave.

Large family sitting room with TV/video, PSI, CD player, plus games, books and video library. There is a new bed settee, making the accommodation for up to 9/10 people.

Shower room with large double head shower and WC.

Upstairs are:

Four large bedrooms, two with double beds and one with an en-suite toilet and hand basin. All rooms are heated for home comfort during spring and autumn short breaks.

Outside, there is a safe, sunny courtyard with patio area and barbecue.

Getting there

Ryanair operate discounted flights to Dinard. By train, there are many TGV services from Paris, and Eurostar from Waterloo to Paris. By road, the ports of Cherbourg, St Malo and Le Havre are all within easy driving distance from this region.

Prices and booking information

Prices include water and electricity. Duvets and pillows are provided but you will need to bring your own covers and sheets. You will also need to bring your own towels.
