About our region

The apartment is located in the centre of historic Dinan, with an English tea room right downstairs, a butcher, bakery, restaurants and shops of all descriptions within a very short distance. Even a fish and chip shop almost at your door! We furnish you with a shopping cart on wheels because there is also a grocery store nearby.

Also within walking distance, are two ancient cathedrals, the Jacobin Theatre, Tour de l'Horlorge (clock tower) and Dinan's famous castle. You can take a stroll down the steep cobblestone Rue de Petit Fort to the River Rance and the old port of Dinan.

You can shop and eat at one of the many nice restaurants and take a boat tour of the Rance. Or, if you prefer, you can climb aboard Dinan's miniature train just a few streets from your apartment, for a guided tour of the city. You can even ride the train to the port, eat, shop and then ride the train back into Dinan.

On Thursday mornings you can walk to Dinan's famous town market, only a few minutes away. One of the oldest markets in France, it has its beginnings in the 13th century. This is a very festive market, selling almost everything imaginable.

The gite is 30 minutes away by car from two beautiful bays on the English Channel - with a golf course right on the bay. It is 15 driving minutes from an equestrian riding center at the nearby village, Plelan le Petit.

Other places of interest nearby: Mont Saint Michel (one of the two most visited tourist spots in France), and the ancient walled city of Saint Malo with a beautiful beach.  

Getting there   

The Dinard airport is only a 20 minutes drive away.

Dates:

(Week runs from 4 p.m. (1600) Saturday to 10 a.m. (1000) the following Saturday)

There will be a deposit of 30% non refundable to reserve this apartment.

The balance is to be paid 8 weeks prior to arrival date with a refundable damage deposit of €290 Euros.

Electricity will be charged at rates used. (Meter will be read at the beginning and end of your stay).

Bed linen and bedding is supplied. The apartment has two single beds. (Single air bed available on request.)
