our B&B This spectacular French home rests peacefully in over four acres of wooded landscaped gardens on the edge of the small town of Mauriac, situated on the border of the Dordogne Valley and within the National Volcanic Park of Auvergne. The cool tree lined drive opens to a wonderful view of this stunning French property which has been meticulously renovated to a very high standard. Whilst retaining all of its many period features such as wood paneled ceilings, marble floors, and oversized stone fireplaces cut from local volcanic rock, it provides its guests with a truly luxurious holiday experience. Four luxury, professionally designed bedrooms with en-suite facilities (three double and one family). Mauriac is a tourist centre in a superb location on the edge of the Dordogne valley, with panoramic views of the Sancy and the Monts Du Central, with numerous outdoor activities including an outdoor swimming pool, tennis, lake and nine-hole Golf Course. For the more energetic, there is walking and cycling. Horse riders are also well catered for with the well reputed Western Stable Elvage Du Sagrin. Alternatively Mauriac has numerous bars and restaurants and a weekly market selling local produce. Nearby is
the medieval of Salers which is classified as ono eof the
prettiest villages in France, as is Touremiere with its
superb castle towering over the valley of the Doire.

Aurillac, a beautiful town set on the river La Jordanne. By Road By Rail By Air Rodez Airport You can fly to Aurillac directly
