This attractive 2 bedroom apartment is situated on the ground floor of the owner's property, with stunning views of the Lot valley, in a south facing position, on the edge of the medieval village of Penne d'Agenais.

The accommodation consists of:

A living/dining room complete with TV, video, dvd, cd & radio, with comfortable chairs and dining table.

Fully equipped kitchen area with cooker, hob, rotis, microwave, fridge/freezer and coffee machine, which leads onto a covered outside terrace, with BBQ for al fresco dining.

The first bedroom is a double with French doors leading straight onto the terrace.

The second bedroom is a twin/double to which 2 further singles can be added to make a family room. Cot available if required.  

There is a large fully equipped shower/wetroom with wc and basin, and a laundry room complete with washing machine, deep sink and ironing facilities.

The terrace leads down to the garden, complete with 10 x 5 terraced underwater lit swimming pool, sunbeds and parasols.

From the medieval past of Penne d'Agenais, one can still visit today its vestiges, and then step into modern daily life, enjoy the weekly market, the summer cultural events and sample a taste of the French way of life throughout the five restaurants and bars of the village.

There are numerous charming villages and ancient bastides to visit where you can discover the history and way of life, then enjoy the renowned gastronomy of this area in the reasonably priced restaurants, or just sit for a quiet drink and watch life go by.

If you enjoy cycling or walking, this area is ideal with an abundance of quiet country lanes, traffic free and hillside walks which will lead you from one village to another.

There are places of interest for all ages to explore in this region, including historic châteaux, underground grottes (caves), museums and fun parks.

Local weekly markets are part and parcel of the French way of life and here we have plenty to buy your produce for that long late BBQ, but don't forget on the way to the markets to stop at the local wine caves to taste and buy the famous regional wines.

Come and sample the simple things and a slower pace of life in the sun.

Rail links: from Paris, direct to Agen, 20mn from Penne.
