About
our region Only half an hour from Bergerac, our property is situated in a region which combines gently rolling countryside, a picturesque old town and gourmet delicacies. The Dordogne, one of the most beautiful rivers 
in France, meanders its way through Bergerac, which is
not simply a pretty town but is a thriving community
thanks to its legendary cuisine, its flourishing markets,
antique fairs and pedestrian walkways. Bergerac's
heritage has been well preserved, and a pleasurable
afternoon can be spent amongst its fine squares, museums
and carefully restored buildings. It is ideal for
walking, cycling and canoeing, and fishing and golf are
also available. The village of Lauzun is situated in the north of the department of Lot et Garonne. All the amenities are here, including shops, bars, restaurants, post office, bank and tennis courts.  Many other towns and villages nearby are
well worth visiting, such as Villeréal, Castillonnès,
Eymet and Duras. With its gentle climate and pretty
countryside, this region offers the visitor ample
opportunites for exploring the sights and enjoying its
many and varied attractions. 
We have four cottages set among
12 acres of fields with gardens and rolling countryside. Arch Cottage (sleeps 2) Arch Cottage features high ceilings and exposed beams, and is an ideal retreat for honeymoon couples. It has: A main room with a stone fireplace and comfortable seating area. A fitted kitchen with cooker and fridge. Stairs lead to: A mezzanine landing and bedroom with en-suite facilities. Farm Cottage (sleeps 8) This cottage is ideal for families. Downstairs, it has: A comfortable main room with seating area. A fitted kitchen with cooker and fridge. Main bedroom which sleeps 2. Shower room and toilet. Upstairs there are: Two double bedrooms with double beds. One twin bedded room. One of the bedrooms has an en-suite shower room. Grange Cottage (sleeps 5) This cottage is ideal for the less able as it has a downstairs bedroom and shower room. Downstairs, the cottage features a: Main room with comfortable seating area. Fitted kitchen area. Shower room and WC. Upstairs there is: One twin bedded room. One singe bedroom. Lodge Cottage (sleeps 3) Equally suitable for the elderly or less able, this cottage has a downstairs bedroom and bathroom. The cottage comprises: A main room with traditional stone walls, a small wood burning fire and a comfortable seating area. The room opens onto lawns with roses, honeysuckle and a covered terrace. Fitted kitchen area. Bedroom with double bed. Shower room and WC Upstairs there is: A mezzanine with a single bed. We are only 30 minutes from
Bergerac airport, and approximately 80 minutes from
Bordeaux.
Low Season: November - April. Prices include electricity, gas and linen, but do not include pool towels. Bed and breakfast facilities are also available by arrangement.
