About our property Situated in the small hamlet of St Phillippe du Seignal, 18km from Bergerac and 75km from Bordeaux, L’Hirondelle is a large single storey gite sleeping 4-7 people, which has recently been completely refurbished to an exceptionally high standard. Larger groups (up to 13) can be accommodated by including the use of 2 en-suite bedrooms in the mill house with meals being taken in the gite. Each room can sleep up to 3 people. Le Moulin de la Bourgognade is set in grounds of 2.5 acres alongside a beautiful mill pond and stream, with an array of wildlife including kingfishers, hoopoe, red kite, coypu, deer and red squirrel as regular visitors. The buildings are set around a large gravelled courtyard that is entered through an electrically operated security gate making the grounds safe and secure. Our Gite

alarmed and open most of the year. To one side
of the pool room are a number of French windows which
help to retain the warmth of the water during cooler days
and yet can be opened on hotter days. The pool is
"ozonated" not chlorinated and for the more
energetic there is a jet stream to swim against.
The pool is for the use of guests and the owners. For
guests holidaying during early spring and late autumn the
pool can be heated if required at an additional
cost. Lawned and paved private garden with wisteria covered pergola. Barbecue, table and chairs. Communal Areas: Large field suitable for ball
games, badminton, football adjacent to the gite. Cot and high chair available on request when booking. Prices

D’hôtes/ Bed & Breakfast Tea and coffee making facilities. The millhouse offers 2 en-suite bedrooms, both of an extremely high standard. Each room sleeps up to 3 (although an additional folding bed can be added for children). Alouette offers twin 3' beds (which can be arranged as a king size), plus a full size single bed. Vanitory unit and WC. Overlooking courtyard, gardens and vineyards. Martin Pecheur offers twin extra
large single beds, plus a full size single bed.
Overlooking mill pond, stream and Both rooms are centrally heated, have laminate floors throughout and en-suite shower rooms incorporating shower cubicle, vanitory unit, WC and hairdryer. la Grande (4kms), situated on the edge of the Dordogne
River is quite beautiful; and offers excellent shopping
facilities, restaurants and supermarkets. Ste Foy
has a large Saturday market where one can find a wealth
of local produce along with many other items.
Traditional markets are also held in Bergerac, Eymet,
Monsegur and Duras with atmospheric night time markets in
