Le Cheyssignaguet A magnificent 35 Ha private estate. Ten minutes away from the Lascaux caves these perigordian style properties will attract all lovers of nature. Le Cheyssignaguet offers three houses with character for weekly renting: La Bastide (12 people), Les Lauzes (8-10 people, equipped for the handicapped) , and La Grangette (6 people). La Bastide (with private heated 10x5m swimming pool) La Bastide is an authentic 17th century building in Perigordian style which can accomodate 12 people in 270 m2. The private 10.000 m2 park is home to a 10x5 m swimming pool, heated and fenced. Sunlounges, chairs and parasols are also at your disposal. Relax on a 100 m2 terrace with pergola, barbecue and outdoor teak furniture. For outdoor dining, you can also use the summer kitchen with its ancient bread oven. On the ground floor is a fully equipped kitchen, opening onto the dining room with its monumental fireplace. In the large living room (50 m2), leather sofas surround another beautiful stone fireplace. A TV corner (Satellite, DVD, Hifi, etc.) and an entertainment area are also part of this room. At each end of
the "Bastide", are located 2 fully The first floor comprises 4 large bedrooms and 3 bathrooms equipped with shower and wc. Two bedrooms have 160x200 beds, and the other two bedrooms are equipped with 2 electric 80x200 beds each. There is also a small living room on this floor. Les Lauzes (with private heated 5x10 m swimming pool) This converted barn with typical stone roof can accomodate 8 to 10 people in 170 m2. After having parked your cars on a dedicated private area, you will access the ground floor with its fully equipped kitchen. You will enjoy the
fenced and shady interior courtyard, A large living/dining room of 70 m2 (with satellite TV, DVD, HIFI) constitutes the heart of "Les Lauzes", and leads to a bedroom with bathroom, fitted for the handicapped. In the other wing is: A separate apartment with a large bedroom, dressing area and private bathroom with wc. On the first floor: A large
living room with a
sofa-bed, satellite TV, and 2 separate bedrooms, each with
bathroom and wc. One
of the A small oak bridge leads to the heated and fenced 5x10m swimming pool, surrounded by a private park of 1 Ha. La Grangette (with private 4x8 m swimming pool) "La Grangette" is a converted barn of 120 m2 with stone walls and oak beams, which can accomodate 6 people. The ground floor comprises: A fully equipped kitchen, opening onto the dining/living room (with satellite TV, DVD, HIFI). At the same level is one bedroom and its bathroom equipped with bath and wc. This bedroom has 2 electric 80x200 beds. There is a small utility room situated next to the kitchen with washing machine and tumble dryer. From the comfortable leather sofas you can enjoy the view over your private park and the surrounding woods. On the first floor: 2 large bedrooms are located in the roof space, each with its own bathroom equipped with shower. Each bedroom has 2 electric 80x200 beds. There is a small living room with satellite TV on this floor. At the edge of your 8x4m swimming pool, you can relax in sunlounges. For the safety of children, this area is fenced. La Bastide and Les Lauzes can be rented jointly or separately. July and August , the properties are available for 2 week bookings only. Inclusive : electricity (100KWA/week), heating, water, swimming pool cleaning, room cleaning (1 time per week in high season, twice in July August Christmas), Linen (changed every week). Taxe de sejour is included in the prices. Not included : phone, breakfast (20 Euros / Person / Day). Arrivals on Saturday as from 4:00 PM, departure on Saturday before 10:00 AM. For your reservation to be confirmed, you must send 25% deposit. Complete payment must be made 6 weeks before the booked period. A 700 Euro guarantee must be paid on arrival, and will be refunded within 15 days after departure. Generally animals are not
accepted, except if the three houses are rented jointly. Improve your swing... St Genies (5 Km, 10 mn) - Swin de la Peyriere, 18 holes. Vitrac (30 Km, 30 mn) - Golf de Rochebois, 9 holes. Siorac en Périgord (40Km, 40mn) - Golf de l'Olivarie, 9 holes. Marsac/l'isle (60Km, 1H) - Golf de Saltgourde, 18 holes. Mouleydier (70 Km, 1H10) - Château des Merles, 9 holes. onestier (90 Km, 1H30) - Château de Vigier, 18 holes. Walk or cycle... There are many paths for walking or cycling near our estates. You can also rent bicycles in Montignac at the Paléothèque (in front of the tourism office, tel. 05.53.50.04.24) Horse riding Several riding schools nearby: Perigord Equitation Passion (St Genies, 4 km) Centre Equestre de Favard (Tamnies, 10 Km, If you have your own horse, you can bring him along since we have many acres of grassland. Canoeing... Starting from Montignac, 10 Km away from our estates, you can rent Canoes to go down the Vézère river: Trout Fishing... The Perigord has a vast network of rivers, going from the smallest brooks to the Vézère and Dordogne rivers. All of them are full of fish, among which are trout and even salmon. Getting there Direct flights to Bergerac with Flybe from Bristol and Southampton, and with Ryanair from London Stansted.
