our properties LAS TRES ESQUINAS is a collection of self catering gîtes in a small village amongst the sunflowers and vineyards of the Dordogne countryside. The properties are on the exact point where the Dordogne borders with the Gironde and the Lot et Garonne in the Aquitaine region of south west France. Château des Vigiers golf club www.vigiers.com is just 3kms along the road where our guests will be offered preferential rates for green fees etc. making it an ideal base for golfers. The properties The Gîte (Sleeps 2) This is a self-contained annex to the main house. The ground floor consists of a kitchen/diner/lounge and upstairs is a large ensuite bedroom with a double and a single bed.
There is a pretty garden to the front for outdoor dining. Guests can enjoy use of the swimming pool. The
Apartment (Sleeps 4) This is on the upper floor of the main house and comprises of a fully furnished kitchen/lounge. Two ensuite bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with twin beds. There is a balcony for outdoor dining which overlooks the courtyard garden and guests can enjoy use of the swimming pool. Village
House (Sleeps 4) Recently renovated open plan kitchen/diner and living area. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with twin beds. The bathroom has a roll top bath and separate shower. Guests can enjoy use of the swimming pool. Prices and Booking Information
About our region Las Tres Esquinas is in the small village of Coutures, Monestier between the towns of Bergerac, Eymet, Ste.Foy la Grande and Duras. It is an ideal base for visiting all the bastide towns and the vineyards of Bergerac, Monbazillac, Duras, Saussignac, Bordeaux and St.Emilion. There are markets in the nearby towns and lots of good restaurants which we can recommend.
The golf club along the road, Chateau des Vigiers www.vigiers.com has two restaurants. Monestier, the next village, has a lovely restaurant and there is also one just outside our village which one can easily walk to. Getting there Bergerac airport is a 20 minute drive where Ryanair www.ryanair.com run daily flights .Bordeaux airport is a 90 minute drive where there are many more operators. Eurostar is an excellent way to travel with Libourne being the nearest rail station (about 1 hour drive). Driving from the ferry ports will take approx. 8 hours from St.Malo and 10 hours from Calais.
