About
our Gîtes  Welcome to our gîtes in
Carlux, Jasmine and Magnolia, two gîtes in a group of 12
located on a 1.5 hectare site overlooking the picturesque
village of Carlux, in the heart of the Perigord Noir. The
gîtes are situated 2km from the Dordogne river and 15km
from Sarlat and Souillac, and provide an ideal base to
enjoy one of France's most The region boasts some of the finest cuisine in France. It is one of the major production centres for walnuts and soft fruits and its forests supply a fine range of mushrooms and truffles. It is also renowned by locals and visitors alike, as the home of foie gras. With such fine cuisine and with the vineyards of Bergerac and Cahors within close proximity, it makes for a perfect holiday destination. Two Bedroom de Luxe Gîtes Jasmine and Magnolia These two bedroom deluxe gîtes are ideal for 4 to 6 people and comprise: Separate living room with two single sofa beds. Large kitchen/dining room.

the first floor. Master-bed room with double bed and en-suite shower room with toilet facilities. Second bedroom with a double and a single bed, adjacent shower room on the same floor, room with toilet facilities Large terrace with barbecue and garden furniture. The kitchens have a full range of crockery, glasses, cooking utensils and are equipped with fridge, microwave, cooker hob with 4 rings (mostly gas), and an exterior barbecue. A range of cleaning products and basic condiments (salt, pepper, sugar, herbs and mustard) are included in the price. All linen, towels, pool towels (during the summer season) are provided. Each gîte has parking for one car located at the rear of the gîte.

week for the 2007 season and include water, gas, tax de
sejour Weeks beginning Sunday 17.00 (pm) to weeks ending Sunday 10.00 (am).
For lettings from the beginning of November to 1st April (long term), gîtes may be available for winter lets - please contact us for details. A breakage deposit of £100 is applicable to all bookings. The deposit is required as a separate cheque at the time that the final payment is due. The cheque will be cashed two weeks prior to your arrival. The deposit will be refunded by post within 14 days of your departure, provided no damage and no breakages have occurred. Liability Carlux Gîtes accepts no responsibility for personal injury, personal belongings, car and contents, or for actual or consequential loss. We strongly recommend that you ensure that you have adequate comprehensive insurance to cover all eventualities. Getting there Airports at Bordeaux and Bergerac are both convenient for this region, with car hire available at both airports.
