Our mobile home is sited on a well run family camp site, set in the grounds of a beautiful 13th century château.

Château Le Verdoyer is situated in the middle of “Le Parc Naturel Régional Périgord Limousin”. It is located near the charming villages of Champs Romain (2km) and Saint-Saud Lacoussiere (3km). Aslo is only 15km from the attractive market city of Nontron. The campsite is only 56km SW of Limoges (45 mins) drive and 60 km N of Périgueux (45 mins approx)

The facilities are excellent and the children are well catered for (Children’s club 5/13 year olds Jul/Aug) no discos. Activities are endless in and around the site, from walking, canoeing, golf, swimming 2 pools and a lake, fishing free (next to the château), horse riding and cycling.

Amongst the many places to visit is the wine region of Bergerac and the historic town of Brantôme (the Green Venice of the Périgord). There is something for everyone. Further information about the site and the surrounding area can be found on the camp site’s website at www.verdoyer.fr

About our property (Mobile Home sleeps 6)

Fully equipped mobile home on a four star camp site. The home is complete with fridge, microwave, gas hob, portable TV/DVD, CD/Radio, decking, patio furniture and BBQ. 

Prices and booking information

Price reduction for 2008 (except for high season – prices as 2007)

Low season: 26th April - 17th May & 13th Sept. - 8th Oct.
Mid season: 17th May - 5th July & 30th Aug. - 13th Sept.
High season: 5th July - 30th August

Few weeks available for the high season, book early.

This includes: Tourist tax @ €0.40 per day per person and the hire of Bed sheets and pillowcases (available from Reception on arrival)

For payment in Euros the exchange rate will be the rate on the day of confirmation of booking.

A ‘Non-refundable’ booking deposit; £35 per week.

Outstanding balance payable 6 weeks prior to arrival.

A breakage deposit of £75 is required with the outstanding balance. Refundable at end of stay, providing no damages.

By Ferry/road:

Closest ferry port is St Malo (5 hours), the furthest Calais, with an average of 3 stops 7-8 hours

By Train:

The nearest TGV (high speed train) station is Libourne or Bordeaux (1 ½ hours). Motorail is possible to Brive la Gaillarde (1 hr). Our closest mainline stations are Périgueux, Limoges or Angoulême (approx 50/60 kms from each) and the local station is Thiviers.
